In this forum, the roleplay is set four years after the Final Battle with the Dark Lord. The last battle was set in 1998, so this is set roughly around 2002. Our main characters are around 21 years old and the world is still recovering from the battle. Stray deatheaters are being rounded up, tried, and sent to Azkaban to serve life sentences. Since the Dementors took the Dark Lord's side, they've been chased away from London and since they can never actually be killed, they're off somewhere else. Azkaban is now being guarded by highly skilled Aurors. Although the Dark Lord has been defeated, a new evil is cropping up. The war with Voldemort seems to have emboldened other dark wizards and witches to come out to the public. Magical Law Enforcement Officials are beside themselves with new threats. Evil witches and wizards have begun to cause more chaos, torture and kill muggles, muggle-borns, and muggle-lovers, and the wizarding world is still recovering from the battle with Voldemort.
