Chouette de la Niege was your average Hogwarts brainiac. She was a Ravenclaw from the beginning and remained a Ravenclaw until the end. Her nose was always in her books and she was always studying and doing homework. She got straight O's in her classes for all 7 years, but the hunger for knowledge never left her. So she began studying things on her own. When she was home during the summer, she checked out muggle textbooks from the library and studied them, and that's when she decided that she would never be happy graduating Hogwarts and all but completely ending her educational career. She yearned to learn all that she can. So she told her parents that she wanted to go to university. Her parents were thrilled, and then revealed that they had put aside a savings fund for her when her mother was pregnant, before they knew she would be a witch, and even when she was going to Hogwarts, they kept saving. They put 50 pounds into a bank account every year since her mother found out she was pregnant and now there was 12,000 pounds in the account for her. But Chouette wasn't sure if that would be enough. The tuition fee itself is 9,000 pounds for a Fine Art degree. And then there's living costs and accommodation. She decided that it was best to simply work for now and then save more money. Her parents authorized her on the bank account and since her parents insisted that she not pay rent, bills, food, etc., Chouette had more money to put into the bank account. She worked as a waitress in one of the muggle shops and made 88.75 pounds every two weeks. So every month she would put aside 100 pounds while her parents put aside 50. Her bank account would be growing in no time and she was excited about that.
But she had the day off, so today she had decided to go for a shopping trip. She had paid her "bill" and had 77.50 pounds that she got to spend. Of course, she wouldn't spend it all at once. Chouette was thrifty, and since she never did do a lot of shopping, she was able to save her paychecks after putting the money aside for her savings fund. She actually had more than this in her bank account. This was just the remainder of her paycheck for the month. But first thing was a trip to a local Indian restaurant. She was hungry.
"One please." She said to the greeter in the restaurant. The greeter set her up with a menu and she ordered an Iced Blueberry tea and a Chicken Curry Platter. The waiter took her order and walked away. Chouette was also known for staying quiet and observing her surroundings. She could tell a lot of things about a person just by looking at them.
